The case decorated with panels of purple enamel within white borders to all sides and top, with swag and foliate mounts to the front and sides, ribbon-tied handle above plunge repeat button to the top, maker's mark MB, the silvered and engine-turned dial with painted Arabic chapters and signature HENRY CAPT/GENÈVE, blued steel hands, the movement within a cast brass casing, eight day with spring barrel and lever escapement, key-less wind and hand-set to underside numbered 69975, minute repeating with two hammers on steel gongs
