In the 17th Century style, possibly Austrian. 20th Century
The gilt-metal dial within a foliate pierced and engraved border, Roman twice XII outer ring with touch pieces and inner 1-24 chapter ring, single steel hand, the centre engraved with travellers and a townscape, the movement with four baluster pillars, steel spring barrrel and gut fusee, four wheel train with verge escapement, the movement encased in a brass drum cover, the steel suspension rod with gilt-brass and facet-cut decoration suspended from a carved and painted tapering backboard
