The breakarch case with brass handle to the top, arched brass fishscale sound frets to the sides, tubular brass mounts to all angles and brass-lined front door, bone escutcheons to front and rear doors, on brass bracket feet, the brass dial with foliate spandrels to a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with recessed silvered sector signed Marriott/London and recessed silvered seconds disc, blued steel hands, the arch with strike/silent ring, the eight day movement with five pillars and shouldered plates, twin gut fusees and verge escapement, strike and trip repeat on bell, the back plate engraved with flowers and scrolls around a classical vase; winding key, case key
