With drum-shaped hood, concave-cut upper corners to the trunk door, on stepped and panelled plinth, the 12 in. diameter silvered and engraved dial of regulator format and signed Robert Hardy, blued steel hands (later hour), strike/silent lever above 60, the eight day movement with shouldered plates joined by five large baluster pillars, maintaining power, wheels with six crossings, Graham-type dead beat escapement, rack strike on bell, fine adjustment to the crutchpiece, suspension on the backboard for later steel rod glass jar mercury pendulum (mercury removed); two brass weights, winding key, case key
