Each with blued barrel with moulded gilt muzzle, half-length rib and decorated over the rear half with a trophy involving palm leaves, olive branches and a mask-in-splendour all damascened in gold, the tang en suite, signed bevelled lock cut with rococo ornament on a pounced gilt ground (one cock extensively repaired, the other top jaw replaced), moulded figured walnut full stock inlaid with silver wire scrollwork over its length (one cracked through the middle), finely carved with a bouquet in low relief behind the barrel tang, full silver mounts finely cast in low relief, including grotesque mask butt-cap, the side-plate, trigger-guard and escutcheon each decorated with rococo patterns of flowers, each barrel retaining some original blue, and one with horn ramrod.
