With two-piece skull embossed with a series of broad flutes radiating from a fluted bud finial at the top, the base with three rows of domed rivets, rounded peak, staple for a nasal-bar, broad neck-guard of five articulated lames each with cusped subsidiary edge and profusely studded with domed rivets, pierced tubular plume-holder and a pair of later cheek-pieces (the skull with rust cracks on one side, the peak chipped at the front, nasal bar missing).
