AN EARLY PATTERN FLINTLOCK LONG SEA SERVICE PISTOL
Circa 1760
With 11 7/8in barrel, stamped with Ordnance proof marks, flat lock stamped 'Tower' on the tail and engraved 'GR' crowned, ring-neck cock, walnut full stock stamped with Storekeeper's mark, regulation brass mounts and ramrod (jaw and screw replaced, steel parts with light pitting, side-plate cracked, ramrod replaced, and belt hook missing).
