Lot Essay

David Richard Jones was one of several children born out of wedlock to Ann Isaacson (1773-1840) and Col. Horace David Cholwell St. Paul, 1st Bt. (1775-1840). His name was legally changed to St. Paul in 1862. He married Sarah Hebbert in 1843. Please see lot 55 for a miniature of his father.
