Rectangular box-type, the front inset with an enamelled plaque depicting a girl leaning against a fence watching a fisherman, the cover hinged to reveal a further plaque, the fence broken, the girl on the ground in a dishevelled state -- 1 7/8 in. (4.4 cm.); and two further brass and enamel vesta cases, one depicting a semi-naked girl by a pool, the other a milkmaid, crying over some spilt milk -- 2¾ in. (4.7 cm.) (3)
