A LATE 17TH CENTURY SILVER-MOUNTED GLASS SCENT BOTTLE,
UNMARKED, CIRCA 1695,
Of narrow tapering form with detachable glass stopper, the mounts with cut-out acanthus leaves & engraved stylised stiff leafage, the base engraved with flower-head, the faceted glass body cut with flowering plants, 4¾ in. long (12.2 cm.).
