AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY SILVER SCENT FLASK,
UNMARKED, ENGLISH, CIRCA 1700,
The shaped oval body chased on either side with a chinoiserie panel, one depicting a man within a pavilion, the other with a figure beside prunus, the detachable silver stopper of shell form, the small oval foot engraved with reversed & interlaced monogram, 2¾ in. high (6.5 cm.).
