Profusely engraved with flowers & foliate scrolls, centred on one side with a view from the crowd of the Doncaster Races & so entitled beneath, the other side inscribed "Presented to M.Walker Esqr. (30th Regt.) as a token of regard by A.H.Williamson (30th Regt.)", 5 in. long (13 cm.), 5 oz.

Further details
The 30th Foot (The Cambridgeshire Regiment), later 1st. Bn. the East Lancashire Regiment) returned to the U.K. after serving in the Mediterranean, Bermuda & Canada between 1834/45. In 1851 they went to Corfu & then Gibraltar from where they proceeded to the Crimea in 1854.
