The Creswick example being a regimental mess item, with foliate handle, engraved with badge of the 37th.Foot, (The North Hampshire Regiment), the other with shell, foliate & gadroon girdle & foliate handle, engraved with armorial, respectively 11 3/8 in. long (29 cm.) and 12 in. long (30.8 cm.).
