A VICTORIAN SILVER-GILT SUITE OF THREE DISHES,
MARK OF JOSEPH & HORACE SAVORY, LONDON, 1889/92,
Comprising a pair of circular comport dishes with wavy rims, sides embossed with fruit, flowers & scrolls, on similarly embossed pedestal bases, twin crests engraved to centre, (one with most of the gilding now absent), 8 5/8 in. diameter (22 cm.), together with a shaped oval dish with caryatid handles, the spirally-fluted sides embossed with fruit & flowers, on stepped oval pedestal foot, 15¾ in. long (40 cm.) handle to handle, 59.75 oz. (3)

The crests are for Wynn, Baron Newborough & Glynne of Glynllifon, Merionethshire, as used by The Hon. Frederick George Wynn(1853-1932) of Glynllivon Park, Denbighshire, fourth son of the 3rd. Baron Newborough.
