AN EARLY VICTORIAN SILVER DRUM MUSTARD POT,
MARK OF CHARLES FOX (II), LONDON, 1840,
With pierced fretwork sides & applied foliate rim, "S" scroll handle with overlapping stiff leaves, raised on four applied openwork rococo scroll feet, cover with foliate thumb-piece & engraved to top with crest of an eagle atop a tower within rococo cartouche, blue glass liner & a later associated condiment spoon, 4¼ in. high (11 cm.), 11 oz.
