Of Grecian form with tapering neck & flat cover, fluted handle terminating in leaf & anthemion, the neck with foliate engraving between overlapping stiff leaves, an engraved knop between bead borders below, the body with two hemispherical panels chased in low relief with groups of putti, crested panel to front, engraved anthemion & scroll decoration, on pedestal foot with bead bezel, fluted spout, chainwork engraving around cover which is crested to centre, pierced anthemion thumb-piece, gilt interior, 12 5/8 in. high (32 cm.), 29.5 oz.
