Shaped circular with rococo scroll border, centre flat-chased with flowers, foliage & diaperwork panels, on three cast leaf & shell-decorated bracket feet, centre inscribed "Presented to The Revd. William Conway M.A. by the parishioners of St. Nicholas, Rochester, as a token of their affectionate respect and of their gratitude for his pastoral labours, during the last years as curate of the above parish. November 20th., 1850"., 20 in. diameter (51 cm.), in fitted case, 114 oz.
