Modèle filets-violons, gravé d'une armoirie surmontée d'une couronne, la cafetière et les couteaux gravés d'armoiries d'alliance, comprenant: douze cuillères, douze fourchettes, onze cuillères à thé, deux cuillères à compote, deux saupoudreuses, une pince à sucre et douze couteaux à fruits à manche en nacre; La cafetière, tripode unie à pieds-griffes, le bec verseur en tête d'oiseau, l'anse angulaire en bois, le couvercle à charnière, la prise en toupie, poinçons sur les pièces: titre, garantie et orfèvre, dans son coffret d'origine en cuir vert, l'intérieur en velours rouge

Les couverts sont le travail de deux orfèvres spécialisés dans ce type d'objets et tous deux installés Place Dauphine. Il n'était pas inhabituel qu'un orfèvre sous-traite une fabrication afin d'honorer la commande dans les délais impartis, ce qui est sans doute le cas pour cet ensemble de couverts.
