THREE JAPANESE WOOD NETSUKE AND A LACQUERED NETSUKE MASK, 19TH/20TH CENTURY
the first carved from a light coloured wood with delicate grain in the form of a drunken man being served sake by a boy from a double gourd vessel -- 1.5in. (3.8cm.); the second in the form of a ferocious looking bugaku mask, with red, gold and black lacquer -- 1.5in. (3.8cm); and two others in the form of Shojo and a man carrying a Tengu mask on his back -- both 1¾in. (4.5cm.) (4)
