A matched pair of Chinese carved red overlay glass vases, first half of the 20th century
each of ovoid shape with high shoulders, carved through the deep red layer incised with quatrefoils to the opaque white ground with three foliate rimmed cartouches variously enclosing a pheasant perched on a floral sprig and birds in flight by a prunus, floral and foliate sprays -- 5in.
