the tapering body enamelled with panels of mythical beasts and flowers growing amidst rockwork, between a cross-hatched pattern and flower medallions, the ridged neck with panels enclosing flowers below the perforated section with quatrefoils on a scroll ground, surmounted by an everted double-walled rim with a projecting beast-head spout and a right-angled handle reaching the body, the tall splayed foot with Ba bao ('Eight Treasures') -- 8¼in. (20.9cm.) high.
