Painted and gilt with a central roundel of a dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amongst cloud scrolls, within a broad band of the Eight Buddhist emblems, amongst sprays of peonies, chrysanthemums, lotus and blossom, the border with a band of key fret, the exterior with further lotus sprays and scrolling foliage -- 19 7/8in. (50.5cm) diam.
