A LARGE VERTE-IMARI ARMORIAL DISH, CIRCA 1737
Enamelled at the centre with a large coat-of-arms, helmet and crest for Colebrooke impaling Hudson, the border with three landscape cartouches reserved on a bianco-sopra-bianco floral ground -- 17¾ in. (45 cm.) diam.; three dishes, en suite; three dishes with the same arms, very similarly decorated; and a famille rose dish with flowers, Yongzheng/early Qianlong -- maximum 21 3/8 in. (54.2 cm.) diam. (8)
