A Chinese famille rose teapot and cover, 18th Century
decorated with shaped cartouches of flowering sprays surrounded by incised flower and butterfly decoration on an underglaze-blue whorl patterned ground - 6½in. (16.5cm.) high; a blue and white bowl and cover painted with lotus and chrysantheum flowersprays, the finial with stylised Shou character; and two blue and white scallop-shell dishes. (4)

From the Reeves Collection of John Russell Reeves (1804-1877) and thence by descent to the present owner.
