A pair of Chinese famille rose dishes, late Yongzheng early Qianlong
each decorated with an open scroll revealing a man holding onto a tree in a moonlit night climbing over a pavilion wall, with a woman holding a fan standing in a garden below with bamboo growing amidst rockwork, all reserved on a whirl-ground with floral sprays including lotus and peony and cartouches enclosing precious objects -- 9in. (22.8cm.) diam. (2)
