A SILVER-MOUNTED YIXING TEAPOT AND COVER, 18TH CENTURY
of hexagonal form decorated with six identical relief moulded panel designs to the exterior depicting a dragon chasing a flaming pearl on a diaper pattern ground, the top of the vessel with a continuous panel of stylised lotus petals and cover with a seated lion finial, flanked by two mystical creatures and scrolling clouds also on a diaper pattern ground -- 5¼in. (13.3cm.) high
