TWO LARGE BLUE AND WHITE MOON FLASKS, 19TH CENTURY
each painted in underglaze blue, the central roundels with scenes depicting scholars in mountain retreats, the sides decorated with stylised chyrsanthemum flowers and foliage, bordered by a band of petal lappets above the foot and a border of honeycomb patterns around the rim above a row of ruyi heads emitting small droplets, cascading down the neck with two pierced foliate handles to the sides -- 16in.
