A Chinese powder blue and gilt dish, 19th century
with shallow rounded sides rising to the barbed everted rim, the well with a quatrefoil enclosing pagodas in a pine-strewn mountainous river landscape, the rim with a composite foliate and floral border, all on a powder blue glaze running short of the footrim, underglaze blue six-character Qianlong seal mark -- 14 9/16in. (37cm.) diam.
