Mark of Pieter van Somerwil I, Amsterdam, 1735
Shaped circular with plain border, ring handle, inscribed on base T + K, marked on base
4.4 cm. diam.
13 gr.
Together with a Dutch silver cream spoon and caster spoon, mark of Bartholomeus Vos, Amsterdam, 1738 and 1755, the shell shaped cream spoon with bird finial and applied putto and an openwork sugar caster spoon pierced with dots and scrolling lines, the scroll handle with a seahorse finial and applied putto, marked on stems, 13 cm. long and smaller, 48 gr. (3)
