Two Dutch silver bread-baskets, a sweetmeat basket and a jardiniere with blue glass-liner
One bread-basket with mark of B. Dijkstra (Gebr. F. Niekerk), Groningen, 1903, the other with mark of A.C. Kooiman, Schoonhoven, 1893-1920 and apparently no date letter also struck with counterfeited marks of Groningen, the sweetmeat basket with counterfeited marks of Amsterdam, 1911, the jardiniere apparently unmarked
The bread-baskets boat-shaped, the largest on four claw feet, the other on four scroll feet, openwork bodies, the largest applied with garlands and ribbons and two scroll shaped handles; the sweetmeat basket, oval, on four pad feet, openwork body, beaded rim and two ribbon tied handles; the jardiniere, oval, on fluted column and foliate feet with rozette terminals and applied garlands alternated with ribbons and portrait medallions, one foot lacking, beaded rim, blue glass liner, marked on bases and body
