A Continental Silver-Mounted Lemonade Jug
Apparently unmarked, late 19th century, probably Dutch
The slightly tapering glass body with spiral fluting, the mounts chased with rocaille, foliage scrolls and flowers, with a leaf-capped handle, the hinged cover with a foliage loop handle, the inside with a detachable glass container for ice, the inside of the hinged cover engraved with initials
