A Continental silver jardiniere
Apparantly unmarked, 19th Century, probably Dutch
Shaped oval and on a spreading base with four rocaille and scroll feet, the rim chased with flowers and trailing foliage on a matted ground, with two scroll and rocaille handles, each side with a putto finial each holding a cut-glass trumpet shaped vase, engraved underneath with a name, with a silvered metal liner with drop ring handles
47 cm. wide
2230 gr. (excluding liner)
