A SET OF THREE LOUIS XV GILTWOOD FAUTEUILS TOGETHER WITH A MATCHING FAUTEUIL OF A LATER DATE

Each upholstered 'à chassis' with shaped rectangular back, padded arms and seat covered with green cut silk velvet with foliate pattern, the toprail centered by a foliate spray and decorated to the angles with foliage on a hatched ground, the channelled frame carved with lambrequined edge, the arms on shaped supports, above a seatrail centred by flowerheads, on cabriole legs headed by floral trails, three fauteuils stamped 'I.BOUCAULT' on the back seat rail, one seat chassis incised 'NM', minor differences in size and carving, consistent with seat furniture of a large suite (4)
