Each with cartouche-shaped padded back and serpentine seat 'à châssis' covered in yellow and polychrome silk decorated in flowers, the pierced cresting carved with rockwork and flanked by flowers, the spreading arms with foliate terminals, the waved seat rail carved with rockwork and foliage on cabriole legs terminating in scrolling feet; the legs of one chair with restored breaks, the other chair with loss to scroll of one foot, each with paper label inscribed 'Gasparini e Boesch-antiquari/via propaganda 25, GB Roma' and with paper label inscribed in ink 'No. 349/...'
