Zukai seigo Shinyaku Bassui faisei [Acupuncture and Moxa]. Kyoto: Katsumura Jiemon, Genroku 12 [1698]. 7 parts on native paper, each 270 x 170mm, the preface in Chinese, text in Japanese. Numerous woodcut illustrations and diagrams. Original brown papered covers with title slips (covers slightly worn, stitching renewed, a few marginal wormholes in volumes 3, 4 and 6.)

Okamoto's work is an explanation of an earlier treatise and discusses various aspects of acupuncture, including the theory, relationships of the pulse and how to use the needles.
