Details
This rare wine of the vintage 1900 was produced by Antonio Borges, owner of Quinta do Junco and the Borges & Irmao Bank. The wine was kept in cask until 1947, when he had the wine bottled at the company's cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, and reserved for the personal enjoyment of the Borges family. On the death of Antonio Borges the wine was divided amongst his three daughters. The tiny quantity available is from the remaining part of one of the these parcels that have now become available from the descendants.
