"Many notes. Lovely to drink from the start. 'Soft' noted fairly consistently from mid-1960s through the 1970s. Lively, attractive, sweet but lacking a little concentration. Two good Oporto-bottlings in 1991, fragrant but rather lean for Graham and two in the mid-90s. Now fully mature with a lovely translucence; ethereal, delicate bouquet becoming rich and tangy. Still very sweet with good length and aftertaste. High alcohol content and an exquisite crystallised violet end flavour. Last tasted February 1995 ****." MB, Vintage Wine
