Lot Essay

Only four ceiling lights of this model are known to have been executed in total, one of which (the here offered lot) was used in the salon at the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome. This present ceiling light is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Gio Ponti Archive, Milan, confirming that this chandelier is the one illustrated in the photograph of the lobby of the hotel.
