A FINE PAIR OF LADIES' SHOES, FIRST HALF 18TH CENTURY
green and silver silk brocade shoes with a high heel, lined in white kid with white kid rands, and with paste buckles in place,--3in. (7.6cm) heel; a pair of cream silk slippers with low red heel, one with red and cream silk rosette to vamp, worked with stumpwork fleur-de-lys, 1790s; and a single low heeled kid slipper, printed with chocolate and cream polka-dot motif, circa 1790-1800 (3)
