With moulded serpentine inner marble top above a fall-front with red leather lined writing surface, pigeon holes and drawers, the base with two further drawers, originally with a shelf, on splayed feet with ormolu sabots, stamped three times 'Tairraz', restorations

Lot Essay

Tairraz is apparently unrecorded. The stampe would suggest that he was acting in capacity as a restorer in the late 19th early 20th century.
