The case with brass handle to cushion moulded top, brass dial with matted centre with mock pendulum aperture, ringed winding holes and date aperture, strike/silent lever to IX, silvered later Roman and Arabic chapter ring, the eight day five pillar movement with twin chain fusee and verge escapement, hour strike on bell and pull repeat on five bells, the foliate engraved backplate signed John Trubshaw/London, with pierced and engraved apron, pendulum with engraved calibrating bob; key and winding key
