a New Guinea drum, Sepik River, of hourglass form, a band of carved lozenges about the center, the large handle carved as a stylized crocodile, a ridge in relief to the opposite side, dark glossy patina, wood, snakeskin and resin; an Asmat Hand Drum of slightly waisted cylindrical form, scrolling motifs carved in relief on the body, an openwork panel of stylized figures and birds forming the handle to one side, the membrane retained with rattan, wood, lizard skin, resin and fiber binding; an Ambryum model drum, wood and ochre; a New Guinea bamboo flute; together with a Nukuoro coconut grating stool, wood, shell and fiber
