EDO PERIOD (18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY),
the gold lacquered example carved as a theater figure with a fan, signed; the other carved as a seated bent-over figure, unsigned; together with a mottled brownish-olive jade carving of
a monkey on a peach, later pierced with himotoshi apertures
