signed Bunkaku, designed in inlaid shell, coral wood, ivory and mother-of-pearl against a kingi ground with a pair of courtiers caught in a windstorm beneath a cherry tree near a stream, the lower panel with tea implements and plum blossoms on an ivory and gyobu nashigi ground, the reverse gilt with birds in flowering vines in iro-e togidashi against a black lacquer ground; together with a two-panel wood table screen pierced carved with chrysanthemums and decorated with lacquer panels with figures and flowers inlaid in ivory and shell
