A finely engineered exhibition standard unpainted 3½ in gauge model of the L.N.E.R. Class A1 4-6-2 locomotive and tender "Dick Turpin",
built by E. P. Turpin, with brazed superheated blacked-steel clad copper boiler with syphon tubes and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, clack and other valves. Chassis details include three cylinders with independant sets of Walschaert's valve gear, cab controlled draincocks, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector, brake gear, whistle, working leaf springs to trailing wheels, oil boxes and pipes and much other fine detailing. Tender details include working leaf springs, tank level gauge, hand feed pump, brake gear, water cocks, steps, hand and lamp irons -- 26.7 x 138.5cm. (10½ x 54½in.)
