A finely engineered and historic 5in. gauge model of the Midland Railway (ex London, Tilbury and Southend Railway) Baltic 4-6-4 side tank locomotive No. 2104,
built by V. C. Storey, with brazed superheated copper boiler with screwed in tubes and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, ash ejector, hydrostatic lubricator and clack valves and washout plug. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with inside Stephenson's link reverse, draincocks, finely fluted connecting and coupling rods with detailed big ends, hydrostatic lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, whistle, injector and hand feed pump. Further details include interconnected water tanks with drain valve, electric back-head light, hand operated brake gear, axle box lubricator boxes and pipework, hand feed pump, steps, hand and lamp irons, finished in MR livery with hand painted crests -- 35.5 x 128.5cm. (14 x 50½in.).

The locomotive was awarded a Silver Medal at the Model Engineer Exhibition 1932 and was used extensively for passenger hauling at M.E. exhibitions until 1964.
