A well engineered late 19th-century small full size single cylinder horizontal stationary engine,
with copper-bound mahogany lagged cylinder 1½in. bore x 2¾in. stroke, cylinder head lubricator, centrally mounted valve chest, studded stuffing boxes, pedestal mounted crosshead slide bars, barrelled connecting rod, belt driven governor, linkage and valve, eccentric driven under floor feed pump and spoked flywheel, finished in green and polished brightwork, cast bed and wood base -- 45.8 x 66cm. (18 x 26in.)
