A well engineered 5in. gauge model of the BR 0-6-0 ST locomotive No. 5,
built to the design of Simplex, with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle, injector, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, finely fluted motion, cylinder head pressure relief valves and pipes, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, injector, whistle (grate and ashpan missing), hand feed pump, steps, hand and lamp irons and other details, finished in green and black (some minor paint loss) -- 34.3 x 86.3cm. (13½ x 34in.)
