A fine plated miniature model of a single cylinder four pillar beam engine,
with cylinder approx 5/8in. bore x 5/8in. stroke, outward facing centrally mounted valve chest, inlet manifold with main stop and governor valves and oiler, parallel motion, the fluted beam mounted in pierced trunnions, the entablature supported on four tapered fluted columns, barrelled fluted connecting rod with gibbed and cottered big and little ends, belt driven governor and linkage rod driven pump and delicately spoked flywheel, slate base and bed and glazed cover -- 9 x 30.5cm. (7½ x 12in.)
