An early 19th-century model single cylinder six pillar beam engine,
with cylinder 2in. bore x 4in. stroke, inward facing valve chest with steam way integrally cast with the cylinder, parallel motion with barrelled links, cast beam supported in trunnions mounted on the entablature, barrelled connecting rod with gibbed and cottered big end, curved spoked flywheel (detached) and belt pulley, finished in red, black and green, cast bed (restored) -- 53.3 x 47cm. (21 x 18½in.) (excluding flywheel).
